Cornerstone focuses on producing the people and behaviour that drive banking results. Founded in 2000, we specialise in a number of methods to achieve this focus, including short courses, e-learning, extended learning programmes, qualifications and learnerships. We also provide consulting services in banking learning and development.
We provide a spectrum of learning interventions, some of which are aligned to the formal South African education regulatory landscape, and others of which focus purely on business requirements. Formally speaking, we are a privately-owned open distance-learning provider offering various programmes in the Further Education and Training band (NQF 4 and below) as well as the Higher Education band (NQF 5 and above).
We are accredited with the FET, Bankseta, and Umalusi. We are also endorsed by the Institute of Credit Management. Our qualifications are recognised by the Financial Services Board and we work in partnership with the Da Vinci Institute. We are currently in the process of registering with the Council for Higher Education.
We are committed to transformation, not only by helping our clients meet their DTI targets, but we are also a Level 1 Empowerdex Certified contributor in terms of our Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) scorecard.
